Sinathir 0.43 - Dialogue topics, new locations and more
Long time no see. This post will sumarize all changes in the newest version and changes in previous smaller versions made since the last blog post.
Dialogue topics
All dialoge topics now work for all major NPCs. This was an unpleasant and slow task, but adding new topics will now be much faster and less unpleasant. I also added several new topics.
New weapons
I also added a bunch of new weapons for the future factions. You get old clasics like KAR98k or MP40, and newer hardware like AK-203 or PP-2000. All of them are sold by Mr. White for now.
Helmets
I added helmet slot to the equip screen and two new helmets. German and Soviet one. There will be more in the future. You can get them from Mr. White.
New books
Talking to Helena will now give you new lore books. Pick the right topic and you will get them.
Combat endurance cost
Attacking will now take one endurance point from you. If you run out, your attacks will be much less accurate and damaging. This applies to you, your companions and enemies.
New locations
I added three new maps. Each of them has enemies to fight and resourcess to harvest. Two of those have entraces to small caves (So technicaly five new maps were added).
Wellness changes
Wellness has been reworked. Now you can pick the atributes you want to increase thanks to wellness at the end of the week. I also added combat indicator that tells you if the hit you received cost you any wellness.
Mining overhaul
Mining is now slightly different. The new system picks the best tool automaticaly. You get certain amount of points depending on your physical stats and your tool. The more of those points you have, the more types of resources you gain from a mining action. You can also spend more endurance points to get more resources, but this will also increase the mood and food cost.
Other changes
And there are plenty of other smaller changes. I added a counter to the main menu that shows you how many times you beat the game, Reworked several game screens and combat encounters, added new sprites for kobolds and Arf and fixed a bunch of bugs. As always, you can find the full changelog below.

- Wellness loss in combat is now displayed

- Pickaxe found in the beach cave was changed to minipick

- Added 5 new maps, east of the northern Riverstone crossroads
- Fixed a bug where killing an enemy would not increase your bestiary kill count if the killing blow was glance hit
- Added all dialogue options for Billy, Suong, Olaf, Valdemar, Roman, Tadeas, Marcus, Zacharias, Helena, George and Mr. White
- Mr. White now sells new weapons: MP40, STG44, FG42, MG34, KAR98k, SV-98, PP-19 Bizon, PP-2000, AK-203, PKP, Vepr-12
- Added “Head” armor slot
- Mr. White sells German helmet and Soviet helmet
- Added 4 new lore books you get from Helena
- Slightly altered the kobold dungeon extermination event
- Attacking now takes away 1 endurance point. Attacking with 0 endurance now does only 20% damage. This should apply to team mates, enemies and you.
- Interacting with most lit campfires will restore all your endurance
- Weapon centered traits now increase the effect of your weapon skill by 10% per trait instead of giving you flat stat bonus at the start
- Added more weapon information to inventory, equip and trade screens
- Added new dialogue sprites for kobolds and Arf
- Added counter to the main menu showing how many times you have beaten the game with unique saves
- Fight against Mr. White will now be different if you have certain feature unlocked from previous playthroughs
- Reworked the way dialogue topics are handled
- Pressing the sprint button will now show an icon above your head to show if you are walking or running
As always, please report any bugs you find. Next version will add more maps and expand the mining system into other parts of the game, among other things.

Mining on collapse small cave (Hidden Dynamite/ new map) Error while Mining with small pick axe....
