Patch 0.08 - Skill check events


The version 0.08 is now released. This version focuses on making the open world faster to traverse and make the exploration more rewarding. Did some quick testing and everything I tried worked correctly, but there might still be some bugs left. I you find any, be sure to contact me.

Skill check events work like this: 

Every week, there is one NPC standing somewhere around the map. This NPC needs help with some skill dependant activity. Skill check dificulty depends on passed time, so it is good idea to complete one every week at the beginning of the game. The higher your skill, the higher your chance to succeed. Completing the skill check raises your used skill by one and also gives you some money, raises your mood and renown. You can finish only one skill check per week.

  • Added one new "personal fast travel" point
  • Added more plants to some maps
  • Added some treasure and treasure guardians
  • Added initial version of alternate recipes (press "S" on the crafting window)
  • Split meat into two types. Animal and humanoid
  • Added bandits into the game
  • Added four new shortcuts you can unlock
  • Fixed the "build the well" achievement triggering where it shouldn't
  • Added skill check events for all skills + combat
