Sinathir 0.13 - Cutscenes and weapon switching
In this version, I focused on improving the in-engine cutscene capabilities and I also managed to squish in weapon switching for NPCs outside of combat. This version is fully compatible with previous version.
First, lets talk about the cutscenes. If you played stardew valley, or any old rpg, then you should be pretty familiar with these. They are nothing fancy. Just your character moving in the game world. I did some work to give me more control over them like making the camera static, disabling item glow while in cutscene, moving the camra diagonaly and other small tweaks.
As for the cutscenes them selves, they trigger only in certain situations. Right now, you need certain relationship level with NPC and you also need to be at the right place at the right time. Example, first cutscene can be triggered if you have 10 relationship with Billy and you go to his farm while he is home.
I made four events/cutscenes for this version. One of them is the first meeting with Zacharias and Helena, which now triggers automaticaly upon entering the right map. I will let the other two cutscenes for you to discover.
As a little bonus, I also added option for switching weapons for companions outside of battle. Up until now, you could only switch their weapons and check their ammunition status while fighting. I wanted to fix this for a very long time and I finaly did so.
You can access this screen from the radial menu on the map (default Q) and it shows you both the weapons the NPC has and the number of ammunition they have left for both weapons.
I also updated inventory and skills for Helena, so now she has her own pebbles.
That should be all. Next month, I will add more functionality to one NPC, specificaly Roman. He will now have a proper schedule and you will be able to accept him into your party.

And as I side-note, I will keep some older versions available for download, This should help you if you decide to jump to a new version that is not compatible with the old one and you deleted the old version. Now you can just redownload the older version and continue playing on your old save.
EDIT.:
Just found out that in the release version, all lighting was broken in some way and looked worse. As far as I can tell, this has been in the game from the start and I never noticed. This has probably been caused by a bug in the engine it self, when checking if file exists behaves differently if it is checking for said file in packaged archive. I fixed this and released new version called 0.13.1. Everything else is the same as 0.13 and saves for both are fully compatible.
