Sinathir 0.27 - Character creation
New version. This one changes the game in a pretty big way by adding completely new character creation system. Instead of picking a single background, you can now build your character by selecting multiple traits ranging from simple stat bonuses and starting items, to game changing abilities like being able to eat twice, instant reloading or not losing mood by fighting.
Because of these changes, this version is NOT compatible with previous saves. Unlocks should still carry over.
Character creation
New screen has been added to the game right after you name your character.
Since this is one of the first screens you will see, there is a small pop-up window telling you how to move around and select perks.
After that, you can freely combine different traits together. Some can be taken multiple times and their bonuses stack. Some traits are exclusive with another trait and you can pick only one. Some traits cost points while negative traits give you points.
You start with three points to spend, but you can pick negative traits to get more points, like I did in the picture below.
Right now, there are slightly more than 50 traits. I will be adding more in the future but this should be a good starting number. I also added new screen to the status window, where you can look at the traits you picked.
All traits are working, however some are not 100% finished. For example, traits affecting mood from eating food don't show this change in the description windows, they will still give you the correct amount though.
Getting more points
When you finish the game, you get 3 more points for your new characters. I put a safety system in place that gives every game a unique seed. The game detects if that seed finished the game before so you can't just save before ending the game, finish it and load again to get even more points. That won't work.
The number of points you can get is not limited. You can finish the game hundred times and you will still be getting more points to spend.
Forced game end
Before this version, surviving for 370 days showed you a popup telling you that you can go to the beach and end the game when you are ready. If you did, you would get a ending and get booted back to the main menu.
With this version, you get automaticaly teleported to the ending section after surviving 370 days. You get an ending and you get sent back to your hideout so you can continue playing. This is how the game was meant to work once I finished all the content. The first iteration was there because of unlocks. Some are pretty time consuming to get and you simply don't have enough time in the 370 days you have to get them. That changes with the new creation system. With correct trait combination, you can get pretty much every ending in that time span. Imprints will also help you with that.
And to make things easier, you get a popup at the begining of each week telling you how much time you have left before the game ends.
And that's it for the big stuff. I also fixed some pretty serious bugs. Again, this was a pretty big and important update. If you find any bugs, report them here or on the forum. Now it's time for me to finaly fully focus on the war system.
PS.: I didn't have that much time to test this update too much, because I wanted to release it together with those bugfixes. Nothing should be broken, but please report any bugs you find. Also, it is always a good idea to save your save unlock files before you update.

- Game now ends automaticaly after 370 days. You can still continue playing your old save after that
- The maximum age you can select in the secret cave now increases every time you finish the game with new save file, since now you can't finish the game at higher age than 11
